2. What this website is
The website presents business-to-business video game publishing services — publishing, marketing and PR, quality assurance and localization, and budget-planning support — to game developers. It is informational. Nothing is sold on this website, no payment is taken through it, and no agreement is formed by using it. Any publishing engagement is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties.
3. Submitting a pitch
- Submitting a pitch is free and creates no obligation for either party.
- You keep all rights in your game and pitch materials. Submitting grants us permission only to read, play and discuss them internally to assess the pitch.
- We treat pitch materials as confidential and do not share them outside the company without your permission. Where more detail is needed, a separate NDA can be agreed.
- We receive many ideas, and games with similar themes or mechanics may already be under consideration or developed independently; receiving a pitch does not restrict that work.
- You confirm that you are entitled to share the materials and that they do not infringe anyone else’s rights.
4. What we do not publish or promote
We do not publish, promote or provide services for real-money gambling, casino or betting products of any kind; games whose central purpose is sexual content; content promoting hate or glorifying real-world violence; or games that use characters, brands, music or other intellectual property without the rights holder’s permission. We do not sell game keys, and we do not provide investment advice or offer financial products.
5. The royalty and budget calculator
The calculator is an illustration only. Every figure is entered by the user. Its results are not an offer, quote, rate card, sales forecast, or financial, tax or legal advice, and they do not bind Karl Berg Design ApS. Actual revenue share, recoupable costs and any publisher funding are negotiated per title.
6. Intellectual property and trademarks
The website’s text, design and code belong to Karl Berg Design ApS or its licensors. Platform, storefront and game names mentioned on the site are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility or market context; their use does not imply endorsement, partnership or authorisation. If you believe content on this site infringes your rights, write to info@karlbergdesign.com and we will investigate and respond.
7. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the website, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, submit malicious links or files, or use the forms to send spam. We may block submissions that do.
8. Liability
We take care to keep the website accurate and available, but provide it “as is”. To the extent permitted by Danish law, Karl Berg Design ApS is not liable for indirect loss arising from use of the website or the calculator. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence or intent.
9. Complaints, law and venue
Please raise any complaint with us first at info@karlbergdesign.com or by post to the registered address. These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are heard by the Danish courts, with the District Court of Odense (Retten i Odense) as the court of first instance, unless mandatory law gives you the right to another venue.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Personal data is covered by the Privacy Policy.
